Shifu Nelson Chan, a Wing Chun practitioner since 1968 under the lineage of Ipman and Moy Yat in Hong Kong, founded the Canadian Wing Chun Fellowship in 1993 and is currently the President of the Canadian Chinese Kuo Shu (Martial Arts) Federation (https://ccksf.wushu.ca).
He also served on the board of the Toronto Yat San Chinese School to preserve Chinese heritage in Canada.
After retiring from managing data centers for the Toronto District School Board, he restructured Wing Chun teaching into an online format with the WSAO (Wingchun System Academy Online).
